I don’t know if there’s a true standard, but I like having a baseline before changing anything. Otherwise it’s hard to know if something actually changed.
I’ve always enjoyed reading medical research, so peptides were a natural extension of that interest. The science is fascinating even when the evidence is still developing.
One thing that’s easy to overlook is that people are often researching other compounds at the same time. That makes it difficult to know which one is actually responsible for a particular effect.
